Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds is the youngest of four siblings, born to a father who worked as a food wholesaler in Vancouver and a mother employed at a retail store. He began his career in 1991 on the teen TV series "Hillside." At age 17, Reynolds starred in the drama "Ordinary Magic" before making his Hollywood debut in 1997 with the comedy "Life During Wartime." His subsequent roles included "Dick" (1999) and his breakthrough in "Van Wilder: Party Liaison" (2002), where he portrayed a laid-back party organizer.
This success opened doors for Reynolds, leading to roles alongside Michael Douglas in "The In-Laws" (2003), Wesley Snipes in "Blade: Trinity" (2004), and starring in the horror remake "The Amityville Horror" (2005). He later reprised his role as Deadpool in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009) and portrayed Green Lantern/Hal Jordan in "Green Lantern" (2011), based on the DC Comics character.
Beyond superhero roles, Reynolds established himself as a comedic star, appearing opposite Sandra Bullock in "The Proposal" (2009) and Jason Bateman in "The Change-Up" (2011). He showcased his versatility in the thriller "Buried" (2010), where his character struggles in a coffin underground. In "Safe House" (2012), he starred alongside Denzel Washington.

He continued to star in action-packed films such as "6 Underground" (2019), "Free Guy" (2021), and "Red Notice" (2021).
